Next Monday – on May Day – It Takes Roots is joining hundreds of thousands of people for a day of mass direct action and strikes. Together with the Movement For Black Lives, Fight For 15, United We Dream, National Domestic Workers Alliance, Food Chain Workers Alliance and hundreds of other national and local organizations, our members of leading actions, marches, strikes, and political education events to defend our communities and people, defy systems that threaten our survival and existence and expand the notion of sanctuary to secure justice, dignity and safety for all communities.
